Volunteering as a Social Media Coordinator for nine months allowed me to blend my passion for storytelling with making a tangible difference. My daily routine involved crafting content that showcased community stories and foundation updates. It was rewarding to see how our online presence grew and how positively people responded. The experience was also emotionally enriching—I connected with volunteers from around the world and found a sense of belonging despite being far from home. Immersed in the Colombian culture, I picked up conversational Spanish quickly without formal lessons, which enhanced my ability to communicate with locals and collaborate effectively.
